Journey from Alice Coltrane
We went to Ronnie Scott's last night which is a jazz institution and the finest venue in London. The night was curated by Gilles Peterson with Nostalgia 77 and Keith and Julie Tippett as special guests as the main act. It was a real privilege to hear them together.
I was really impressed by the support of Matt Halsall's band. Hat's off for choosing in their set a composition by Alice Coltrane with the harp. It was the first time I listen to this live after loving them for many years on record.
